Time with Friends

Instead of me going to Sacramento in January as usual, my friend, Joanne, came here and brought her sister too.

Pretty much everything we did was sewing related.

Over the weekend, we headed to Puyallup, Washington where their niece lives. We spent two nights there and a day at Sew Expo.

Mt. Rainier was gorgeous and this photo was from their living room.

The Half Hearted quilt was a gift.

Below, you can see our sweat shop in my kitchen.

Yesterday, I finished my run at a local bakery and picked up goodies for breakfast.

Since Joanne did the bulk of driving, I finished binding a quilt that I have hauled back and forth to her home too many times. It’s Spin Cycle by Cluck Cluck Sew and measures a square 72″.

Until next time, friends.

We did have a great time, thanks. You are a wonderful hostess and I always look forward to my visits. Quiltcon was an experience – so much fabric, so little time! Looking forward to next time. The candy was so delicious. Yum
