Quilts and Yocum Ridge Backpack

The Modern Quilt Guild offered another challenge.  My 38″ square quilt is from Jaybird’s book.  The pillow is a pattern by Brooke Biette from Pillow Pop by Heather Bostic, a fellow PMQG member.  It uses all the left over HST’s from the quilt.

This wedding quilt is 68″ square.  I wanted the Fed Ex arrow incorporated since Wim is a Fed Ex delivery guy and met Angelina at her work.  The label says, “He delivered his heart.”

I finished two of these.  One went to Amby Burfoot and his wife Christina as a thank you for the signed book they gave us.

This weekend, Kevin and I backpacked 22 miles to Yocum Ridge in the Mt. Hood Wilderness.
