Pantone Quilt Challenge: Viewer’s Choice is Open !!!

orchid buttonThe Pantone Quilt Challenge  is open for viewer’s to choose their favorite quilts in three categories.  Voting is open through Thursday evening here or here.  Scroll down a bit to get to the entries.  Vote by clicking the heart in the upper right hand corner.

  • Quilts (full size)
  • Mini quilts
  • Just the Top (entries that aren’t quilted yet)

Please don’t think I’m asking for votes because there are some fabulous quilts and great stories.  For instance, mini #21 used My Little Pony for inspiration. Mini #46 took her quilt to Lowes and staged it in front of the Pantone display.  Just Tops, #3 is photographed near a statue of Eliazbeth Cady Stanton (Cady is my middle name).  Just tops #4 is straight lines, but creates an optical illusion.  Wow!  So many choices.

And I’m still working on my duplicate challenge quilt.  Stay tuned.

How many pins end up casualties in each quilt?

This quilt has a lot because of the number of pins I’m using. Usually less pins and less casualties.

They are lovely but yours is very unique and I love how your design looks like it burst and has those squares on the rays that come out from the block. Good luck you did an amazing job!
