Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skull Mini Quilt

Feliz Cumpleaños to my daughter, Sarah!  Sarah and her husband are in Mazatlan celebrating!

Janet blogged about this sugar skull art and since I love machine applique and the art collage is SO great it is now a 26″ x 22″ wall quilt for my daughter.   Sarah’s birthday is today, All Soul’s Day, when we Catholics remember those who have died.  Every year, she gets a Dia de los Muertos handmade item ~~ or more.

dia de los muertos 2013This is the art collage from Modernart4Kids that is so great!  And thanks to Janet for posting her find!
