Kevin fooling around on Split Rock.
A bonus was seeing the International Space Station. It flew over at 9:37 and could only be seen for six minutes.
The start of the hike was quite pleasant with the forest smells whiffing through the air.
Pacific Crest Trail. This is where we met our sixth hiker of the day. He was attempting to hike on the PCT without a map or compass and his I-Phone batteries were dying. We did give him a map and showed him which way was west.
Our view from the inside of the tent. We didn’t use the rainfly and I was getting cold from the wind, so I pulled the rainfly over us like a blanket. Pretty ingenious?
