Ash Wednesday Banner

The girls from St. Matthew created a banner for our church to use during Lent.  It debutes today.  In addition to cutting out the crosses, they wrote things like, “Lord Have Mercy” and “Have Mercy on Sinners”.  They did a lovely job and I enjoyed quilting and binding it for them.

For those of us who celebrate Lent, may we have a blessed six weeks of preparation for Easter.
