Oops and Double Oops

OK, I shouldn’t have thought bad thoughts about the workmen over at the school (turned into ball fields) today.  The fifth from left pole was cut 6″ too short.

So, I quilted and put the binding on this runner and was looking at it admiringly when…  OH OH !!  Look at the far right blocks!

So, instead of the 44″ table runner, it’s a bit shorter and different from what I envisioned.

But I think my fix is a lot easier and less expensive than their welding  job will be.

    I LIKE those kind of mistakes! But maybe it was just meant to be shorter.
