My sister-in-law visits

I had a wonderful time with my husband’s sister.  Here are a few pictures.  She has a reputation of being incredibly tidy and clean, so we had a little fun with my daughter.

We hiked at Hagg Lake (sat at my son’s Eagle project table) and watched our troop on their canoe practice.  That evening was graduation.

Sunday, after church, was a Court of Honor for an Eagle Scout.

A BBQ at our home with a few families.

The county museum where our guild has a great display.

Yesterday was the perfect day to end our visit.  We used Cultural Passes from our local library and visited the Japanese Gardens (between major rain showers) for free, went by the Rose Gardens where Queen Victoria’s stone is newly installed and had a little fun.  For lunch, we had Burgerville’s seasonal lunch:  coho salmon sandwich, fried asparagus and strawberry shortcakes.  Then we went to IKEA for twenty minutes and the airport.

By and thanks for a great time!

Looks like you had a TON of fun! I haven’t been to the gardens in way too long.

I am so envious of her visit :o(
