Eagle Project Phase 2

Phase Two of my son’s Boy Scout Eagle Project was Saturday.  Nine of us spent five hours sanding planks for the picnic tables.  These are the planks we pulled early January.  On a glorious day, we got 17 out of 20 sanded.  Next step is filling the cracks and grafitti, removing the 6 foot posts and replacing them, and painting the tables.

Below is my son with the sanded planks (some have been filled, but need additional sanding) and a good friend of my older son.

In other news, the fish quilt sold at the school auction for $2400.  WOW !!!
