Two Blocks and Two Quilts Finished

These two quilts were given unfinished on Christmas night to two dear couples that we meet with every Sunday evening.

Nick and Tania’s only needed the binding hand stitched down.  Their quilt is for a vintage trailer they are restoring and it measures 70″ x 82″.  I had to keep the colors dark since it can easily get dirty.  The colors are spot on with a pillow Tania brought over earlier this year.

The quilt that was given as fabric in a box is finished.  Mike volunteers at ReBuilding and Jean is a nurse midwife.  Since we meet at their home weekly, a “house” theme seemed perfect.  It’s Suburbs by Cluck Cluck Sew and is super easy and fast and measures 62″ x 72″.
