17+ miles around Timothy Lake

Our scoutmaster lost 30 lbs. and I was practically running to keep up with the five ahead of me at Timothy Lake, near Mt. Hood, Saturday.  We hiked 13 miles with full backpacks and then went back to visit another crew that stopped at mile 11 to spend the night.

I am SO NOT into fish heads and guts, but was able to eat some of the fish the guys back at camp caught, cleaned and cooked.

    It has been a long time since I’ve been fishing. George used to save the cleaning to me. Never left the heads on though.

    Fresh caught trout…Yum!
