In my decision to start a blog, I decided to start with why I am who I am. My love of quilting and all things related to fabric comes from my mother and my love of the outdoors comes from my father.
Included is a picture of my mother and my quilted interpretation that I gave her last year on her birthday. We are always working on quilts together – even though we live 3000 miles apart.
My father still rock climbs and the quilt I gave him last year on his birthday is also shown. The silhouette on the quilted “Gunks” is my dad just like in the actual picture. He loves tie dye and that is why his college tie has been altered.
